   Stacey & Denis
"It was on a trip of a lifetime trekking through the Himalayas in Nepal where the engagement story starts! We were planned to fly into Lukla (worlds most dangerous airport!) to begin our trek to Mt Everest basecamp, when inclement weather had grounded all flights in Kathmandu for several days. Determined to get there, Denis decided to charter a private helicopter to fly us through the high altitudes to a landing field just south of Lukla airport. Once we made it out of Kathmandu, it was a hard slog trekking for 6+ hours each day, breathing in less oxygen as we ascended higher in altitude each day, not to mention the poor sanitation & drop toilets! The spectacular scenery was the only saving grace! Not usually the time for snow during our trek, it snowed upon our bitterly cold ascent into basecamp. Spent, tired & beyond exhaustion, we had a couple of photos in front of the Mt Everest Base camp sign. Denis then got down on 1 knee & proposed! I was so cold it was difficult to cry!! 13 months to the day we marry!"

 Lauren & Adrian
"On our 2-year anniversary, Adrian took me to my favourite place; Margaret River! He surprised me with accommodation at a 100-year-old stone manor called Basildene Manor. On our anniversary night, he told me to dress up for an early dinner. Before we went to the car, he told me he wanted to take a walk through the gardens. He took me down to a gorgeous gazebo, overlooking the lake.  There was a table set up with Moet and strawberries. Adrian began to say the most beautiful words to me and finished up on one knee, asking me to be his wife. Not only had he planned this romantic proposal, but my mum worked with him to organize a photographer to capture every single moment. We then had a 1-hour photographic session with Jacqui from Soul Photography and she took some stunning shots while the sun was setting. As cheesy as it sounds, every girl wants to be swept off her feet and I am so excited to be marrying my best friend. We have set a date for next July and couldn’t be happier."

Michael & Brooke

3 August 2013

"With the help of Pop of Colour Events, Michael selected the rooftop location as the one and only Perth Bell Tower - home to the swan bells. After booking out the entire Bell Tower - Pop of Colour Events brought his vision to life by setting up the sixth open observation floor with his requests. Brooke got the best surprise of her life as she walked up the final staircase, lit with candles to the sixth floor which was decorated with more candles and pink flowers (her favourite colour). There was a private dinner table for two and their favourite song playing on loop. Down on one knee Michael proposed to Brooke with an amazing custom designed ring!

The couple enjoyed a three course meal prepared and catered by Alexander Leslie Catering before exiting the facility. One last keepsake and a perfect end to this unique proposal was having a set of lovelocks engraved with their names and proposal date to add to the lovelocks bridge outside The Bell Tower! A perfect end to a perfect proposal."

Melanie & David

26 June 2013

Whilst holidaying at The Peninsula in Hong Kong, David surprised Melanie on Wednesday 26th June 2013, with a extraordinary Russian Princess Cut Diamond whilst dining at the world’s only 3 Michelin Star Awarded Chinese Restaurant overlooking the spectacular views of Victoria Harbor. On bended knee he asked for her hand in marriage where they then celebrated & named the diamond “From Russia with Love”. On arriving back to the hotel Melanie than returned the surprise to David by giving him an Omega Sea Master watch as her gift to him – stamping the trip as a real life “James Bond 007” experience. A January 2014 wedding is planned.

 Lauren & Anders

17 February 2013

"When Anders proposed to me on the 17th of February 2013, he dressed up our dog Adam West in a Batman costume, tied my beautiful ring around his collar, got down on one knee and said "I want to be the hero you deserve, will you marry me?" I of course said yes and couldn't be happier to be marrying my hero!"

Erin & Adrian

"Adrian & I were on a snowboarding holiday with friends touring around the South Island of New Zealand. We had been out all day doing activities and exploring the beautiful Lake Tekapo and when we got back to the hotel Adrian suggested we go for a drive on our own to one of the spots by the lake we'd seen earlier. He's always been sweet like that so I didn't think anything of it. When we got to a secluded spot by the lake it was pretty much pitch black other than the stars and moon reflecting on the water. Before I knew it, we were out of the car and he was on one knee asking me to be his wife. He proposed with a diamond as he didn't have enough time to get the ring designed and he nearly lost the diamond as our luggage didn't arrive in NZ with us until 24 hours later, silly him for having it in the checked luggage."
