What do I need to organise closer to the date?

Finalise the guest list and start making or arranging for the invitations to be done
Have a few places in mind for the venues you want to use
Make a hair appointment for the wedding day and make another date for the trial with the hairdresser
Make an appointment for your makeup and makeup trial
Start looking for florists you can use
Think about the colours you want for the bridesmaids and groomsmen and start deciding on the outfits for them and your own dress and suit for your fiancé
Get the transport organised for the day
Organise the cake to be made or start designing it if you are making it yourself
